Title of practice- Shikshanmaharshi Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe literary association
Objective of practice:
- To promote writing skill among students
- To organize lecture series
- To organize guest lecturers of speakers and authors
- To inculculate literature habit among students and faculties
- To motivate students for contributing in literature
Context:
- Now a day’s technology rapidly changed therefore there is need of increasing literature in society as well as in inculculate literature among students.
- Day to day reading habits among students are declined there is need of promoting literature.
- The literature is help to build the social reform and peaceful society.
The practice:
- All the language department of our college has designed various certificate and skill development courses such as “writing skill for print media”., “certificate course in rural journalism”, “Hindi language translation course”, “Journalism in Hindi”, Certificate course in communicative English”, Also the college has organized essay writing competition wallpaper presentation etc.
2.In our college the department of Marathi has organize lecture series on Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe lecture series during 11/3 /2024 to 13/3/2024 the total 80 student were participated in this program.
- All the language department has organized various guest lecturers for inculculate literary habits among students.
- The college has organized National poetry seminar of various famous poets.
Evidence of success:
- All the records in the form of application letter duly signed by principal to Grant the permission, notice of program, attendance, records report and photographs are maintained.
- There is increasing the literary association program in the form of startups.
- The number of students actively participated in various literary association programs.
Problem encounter and resources required :
- Continuous supply of funding to plan and execute events.
- Maintenance of standards and level.
Title: - Green Initiatives and Practices
Objective of practice:
- To raise awareness about environmental issues
- To promote sustainable practices.
- To encourage students that protects the environment by organizing campaign.
To clean up drives tree planting and educational program
Context:
- Now a day’s environment rapidly changed it affects health of human being therefore there is need of increasing environment clean and clear to inculcate environment awareness in societies.
- Day to day society became irresponsible towards enviournmental issues to maintain so there is need of promoting youth and society to protect the enviournment.
- The enviournmental awareness programmed help to build the social reform and peaceful society towards green environment.
The practice:
- Sustainable practice: Our College promotes eco-friendly habits on campus such as responsible waste management water conservation and energy conservation
- Community engagement: Our College organizes out rich activities to educate the wider community about environmental issues and o encourages participation in green initiatives.
- Hands on project: Implement practically project like Tree planting, garden development, rainwater harvesting and recycling programs.
- Advocacy and policy change: Lobby for environmentally friendly policies within the college administrator and local government.
- Leadership development: Empower students to take leadership roles in environmental initiatives.
- Celebration of environmental day: Our College organizes events and activities of environment.
- a) Our college established Green club association on that occasion college has organized two day workshop on the trees and atmosphere it was inaugurated auspicious hands of principal major Dr. Y A. Doke.
- b) Cleaning drive activity carried out by the Green club in the college on 1.10.2023. the aim of the program was to create awareness about cleanliness the motto of the program was premises cleaning 35 volunteers actively participated in cleaning drive .
- c) On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi jayanti Green club has conducted the cleanliness program 48 volunteers has participated in activity.
- d) Trees are very important elements in our environment to save the trees the college and Green club conducted the plantation drive on 12/7/23. 76 students and staff were actively participated in tree plantation.
- d) College organize lecture of principal major Major Dr. Y.A.doke on the issues environment on 15.3. 24 68 volunteers actively participated in program
- e) Our college also participated in online VI test mobile app water conservation you can set of this tree plantation on date 7/8/20123 96 volunteer participate in program.
Green club committee also exhibit poster presentation on the date 15/3 2024.
